Can I book a ticket on the same day I want to leave?

However, for lines that do not offer instant confirmation, bookings are typically accepted up to 24 hours prior to departure. It’s worth mentioning that these rules are general and may vary depending on the operator.
You can search the website to find out the availability of tickets for your desired route on a specific departure date. If the chosen date is unavailable, this information will be clearly stated on the website.
To ensure a smooth and worry-free travel experience, Bookaway highly recommend booking tickets in advance when it’s possible, in order to guarantee availability for your preferred travel date and time.
Is there a limit to how many people can be added to one booking?
There is a maximum limit of 15 passengers per booking on website. If you are traveling with a larger group, you can make multiple bookings, each accommodating up to 15 passengers, until you reach the desired total number of passengers.
Do I get an immediate confirmation?
Bookaway provides a range of rides that offer immediate confirmations. However, as we collaborate with local operators, some of our rides require manual approval by the operators, which might take up to 24 hours.
Once you’ve searched for the ride you want to book, you’ll get to see all the available options. if the “Instant Confirmation” label is displayed, it means that the confirmation will be sent to you immediately after you book your ticket.
How do I choose a ride with the amenities I need?
The amenities provided onboard vary between vehicles. Certain operators offer amenities such as toilets, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning, while others may not provide these services.
When searching for the ride you want to book, you can view all of the available options and effortlessly identify and compare the amenities offered for each ride, ensuring you select the one that perfectly suits your needs and preferences.
When selecting a certain option, you’ll find a dedicated section that provides a clear overview of all the amenities available on the ride you’ve chosen.
Can I bring my car on board a ferry?
Certainly! Bookaway offer the convenience of bringing cars onboard on several of our ferry lines, allowing you the freedom to travel with your vehicle.
If the ferry operator permits car transportation, the line will be clearly labeled as “Vehicle onboard” During your search, you’ll be able to identify if this option is available for your selected route.
To include a vehicle in your booking, simply check the box “I’m bringing my car onboard” before proceeding to fill in the passenger details.
Can I choose my pickup and drop-off locations?
After searching for your ride, you will be able to view all of the available options, including the pickup and drop-off stations.
It’s important to note that certain operators exclusively provide pickup and drop-off services at designated stations, while others offer hotel pickup or drop-off. If hotel pickup or drop-off services are available for a specific ride, this information will be clearly stated in the details provided.
For lines that offer hotel pickup or drop-off options, you will have the opportunity to select your hotel during the booking process after providing passenger details.
Depending on the specific line, there are two options available. On certain lines, you can simply enter the name of your hotel in a free-text field. On other lines, you will find a drop-down list from which you can choose your hotel.
Please note that not all hotels may be included in the operator’s predefined list. In such cases, we recommend selecting a nearby hotel as an alternative.
Once your booking is approved by the operator, you will receive a confirmation email containing important details. This email will indicate whether your pickup request has been approved or not.
Additionally, any notes or instructions provided by the operator will be included in the confirmation email.
